How We Started
Smith Environmental Solutions is a local, family owned and operated business founded in West Palm Beach in 2009 by Marcus Smith, a licensed pest control operator with over a decade of field experience. After years working for large national chains, Mike saw the same problem everywhere: customers were getting sold programs, not solutions. Technicians were rushed. Follow-ups were ignored. And when pests came back — which they did — customers were left to start the process over.
He started Smith Environmental with a different model. Smaller client base. Longer service visits. Technicians who are accountable by name. Every job is documented, every treatment is explained, and every callback is answered by someone who knows your property. That approach built a reputation that has sustained the company entirely on referrals for over a decade.

10 years with Smith Environmental. Derek specializes in rodent exclusion and commercial accounts. His attention to detail and follow-through have made him the first call for our most complex jobs.

Service Coordinator
